Starting a project on my car.

So I've decided that I want to switch out the bulbs from the interior of my car with LEDs. The gauge cluster, climate control, ignition ring, ash tray, etc. It's a small project but its something I can do and it's cheap costing about $40.00 for all the LEDs. It honestly shouldn't be too hard but I've got nothing better to do.

Sorry it's been a while since my last post, I've just been super busy all week. I traveled out to Alabama to buy an MR2, Woooo! Its awesome and I really do like it but it's just such a drastic change from my honda civic so it'll take some getting used to. Now I'm getting minor work done on it at my friend's house, he's a mechanic that knows so much more than me and I do trust him with my car and it's nice to know I'm not getting ripped off by the dealerships. Looking for apartments tomorrow and gotta buy more parts for the car. Gonna keep this one short and sweet, be back in a few :p

New car! (well not new, just new to me)

I found an MR2 for sale. The car is in decent condition with the exception of a few dents, a window doesn't roll down, AC needs freon, and the hood is a bit wrinkled and the best part is I can afford it! I have to go out of state to meet him so that'll be a first, also buying a car, driving a stick shift and spending over 2k at once. Lotta firsts in there >.> lol but yeah I should be meeting him on Wednesday so I hope for the best.

Sliding in the rain. (Part 2)

*WHOOPWHOOP* flashing lights ... (Part 1) I exit the drift and continue into the turning lane of the campus when I see the dreadful flashing lights of a cop car. "OMGOMGOMG" is all I'm thinking. The cop wasn't behind me, he was waiting at the light ahead of me. So I signal into the lane that goes straight to avoid following behind the cop. I expected the cop to U-Turn and get right on my ass, so I drive by with my breath held and the cop turns into campus and pulls over the car in front of him. I'm so scared at this point I park in a shopping center to calm my nerves and wait to see if the cop followed me. I waited like 5 minutes before I headed back to school and saw the cops in the parking lot with their lights on interrogating that other guy. Awesome night... (For me and my friends, not for the dude who got pulled over >.>)

So it's about 8:00-9:00pm and it's raining out, moderately hard. Me and a few friends went for a bite to eat at Wild Wings cafe, it was three of us total and we all rode in my car. We had a good time at WWC (I thought), the food was good and the company was great. It wasn't some huge ass group with headaches lurking around every corner. We finish up relatively quickly so we start heading back to the university. Earlier that day I was asking my friend about drifting and he showed me in his 300ZX and so I asked him if it would be possible to do so in a FWD vehicle. He said yes it was, he was sitting in the backseat and the other friend in the front as we were driving back. We come across an empty turn into the main road that slightly goes downhill. I thought to myself HHMMMM..... DRIFT! So I hit the gas, held the e-brake and took off into the main road. At first nothing happened and  I was like wtf? Then I turned the wheel to help the car gain an angle and before I knew it I had over steered about 70 degrees from when I started out and was like OH SHITLOL. My tires were skidding over the slick road and the tires sliding sounded so badass. So I return the e-brake and hit the gas again to drive off, like a boss. My heart was pounding because this was my first time ever trying to drift and with a FWD vehicle on top of that. All was good and I felt like a boss until .... *WHOOPWHOOP* flashing lights ... (Part 1)

I feel so incompetent.

So it's Saturday, just another 8.5 hour shift just like any other day. I work doing the same routine stuff I do everyday. Then around 7:45 my manager says that she needs to run for some petroleum jelly to lube the ice cream machine, so I jokingly shout that I'd do it (I kinda did wanna do it so I wouldn't be working) so she said fine; note that we have always used the same lube that looked like it was some hardcore specialized jelly and I had to get that kind. She gave me $20 and out I went. I went to Walgreens and didn't find it. I went to Home Depot and didn't find it. I went to Walmart and didn't find it. So I called the store and my boss picks up, I'm like, shit.... because I was out for an hour and he's a penny pincher. I told him I couldn't find the lube that we used and he said that I was looking for the wrong thing -____-. He said just ordinary Vaseline petroleum jelly that you used on yourself or whatever and he said to get the one in the tube. So I grab the ones in the tube and I drive back to work. Halfway there I look at it and ITS THE WRONG KIND!!! It's petroleum jelly cream so I U-turn into Walgreens because I had just passed it and spent my own money to buy the one in the plastic container. I then floor it back to work because it's 15 mins past our closing time and I had to stop by another franchised location to drop off the jelly for them too (I had to get 1 for my work and another one for anther location). So I now have 2 tubes of petroleum jelly cream... So that was my day.

Maybe a little too late ...

The white iPhone 4 has been announced to be released April 28, 2011. It may just be me but WHY?! No one could possibly have waited this long to get a white iPhone 4 rather than just going to the store and buying one right then and there. On top of waiting to get a white iPhone 4 people are most likely going to put a case on it, most of which hide the phone itself anyway but don't get me wrong it still looks very sleek, clean and nice. Meanwhile the release for the next iPhone will be relatively soon because Apple is like Nintendo and comes out with new and updated products up the wahzoo. I have an iPhone 4 (obviously black) and the only reason I can see the white iPhone 4 selling is when the next generation of iPhone 4's come out and the price gets reduced, say to the price of the 3GS ($49). If that ever happens ..

Little Five Points.

Today I went to hang out with a friend I met just yesterday, with her was this other dude; I must say he's really cool and nice. Anyway we picked up a few more of her friends who are also pretty tight and went down to Little Five Points near the Atlanta area. When we get there we stopped by a few shops that had an enormous amount of costumes and accessories. After that we stopped at this one guy painting with spray paint cans. There was maybe 10-15 people watching him as he sat on a blue tarp with a luggage case, a cardboard box, and a white poster. I started watching him as he started his last piece and I was FUCKING AMAZED! He created such a brilliant piece of outer space with just spray paint and 2 circular objects for a planet and maybe a moon or another distant planet. He made volcanoes or mountains so easily and they looked so realistic. He charged $20.00 per piece and I would gladly pay every penny if he was still taking orders but he ran out of paper and was forced to stop. I'm sure he makes more than enough to make a career out of it but he said that he's been doing what he does for 18 years, living as a hobo painting for people, because he enjoys it. I really wanted a painting....

The only one I saw was something like this but in my opinion looked just so much more rich and brilliant than this.

Had a good time at work, wait what?!

I've been working the same job for the past 4 years, ever since I was 14 when I started up at Chick-Fil-A. It's monotonous, tedious and boring and it's been like that ever since I can remember but today was different. I don't know why.. it may have been the Caramel Frappaccino, the sweetened Green Tea, or theCaramel Macchiato but I felt pretty good today which hasn't happened in forever. Speaking of which I did meet someone new today, she added me on Facebook a few weeks ago. I didn't know her but we had a few friends in common so she decided to add me and near closing time I met her today; it's always nice to meet new people and make friends. I just hope I can be more social and less socially awkward lol.. it's a work in progress :p

It's about that time to move up on outta my house. I've lived here my entire life and it's getting really old so my family and I decided to move to apartments nearby that may be more convenient getting to our job and me getting to school. I really like the idea of moving but then again my room is like Ground Zero, it's where I go at the end of the day to get away from it all; nonetheless I'm still excited! Plans for a new car to drive, a new place to live and a new school to attend.

Dream car.

So I've decided that the next car I want to get is going to be a 1991 Toyota MR2. It doesn't have to be modded or have any extravagant  features. I can always save up more money to add stuff I want like rims, spoiler, subs, etc. It's not that big a goal but a goal nonetheless. It's something to look forward to. I want to learn more about cars as well because at the moment I don't know anything and it's something that interests me so that's also a goal.

Wild Wings Cafe.

Every other night me and a few friends go up to WWC because they have this buy 1 get 1 free kinda deal so if you buy 12 you get 12 free. Of course it's about 12 dollars so it would get pretty expensive going every week. The people there are cool and fun to be around but every night after like an hour or two I just get so unbelievably tired and unfocused, it gets rather annoying. Now more and more people are getting invited and it takes ages for anything to get done like drinks, orders, and bills. The group of us are basically separated. There are people who sit on either extremes of the tables who don't talk to each other, only the people on that side and then nearing the middle are the people who talk to both sides more or less equally but whatever, as long as everyone's having a good time; it really shouldn't bother me as much as it does. On the way home I saw the moon, it was just over the horizon and was tinted a bownish red and was a full moon; the closest i've ever seen it. I used to text Keli to look up at the moon whenever I felt it was full or just weird but I haven't for a while now and don't anymore, I miss doing that.

Another boring day.

I woke up today thinking it would be nice because I looked outside it... inspired me ..? I dunno but I felt great. So I went to school, saw the peeps and went to get lunch at Chick-Fil-A and then to class. After that it became all too routine, pool and ping pong till 8:00 but at least today I visited my friend whom of which I haven't really talked to since 8th grade at Subway so that was nice. Then off to home and there I watch movies or anime and get on Facebook till I sleep. I don't know what I'm gonna do once summer rolls around ... I truly do wish life wasn't so routine and boring, but then again once you get used to something new that also becomes routine. People keep telling me these are the days to be living it up getting shitfaced and having the time of my life but I don't really want any of that, all I want is stability and happiness or rather contentedness(?)

Personal journal or just a place to vent?

So this is my first post, I'm kinda excited but I'm also wondering for what will I use this for? I've always been under the impression that no one would read my blogs, in that case it would be my own personal journal that the world can see or do I will I just post here to vent anger and frustration from everyday life? I can see myself posting the most profane obscenities just after a 4 hour shift at work. Maybe both but that really depends on who reads my posts. Well, only time will tell I suppose ...
